

CURTIS NOLLEY - 1999 - Present
Curtis Nolley is in his ninth season as director. He has served as church musician, conductor and music education instructor at Mary Baldwin College. For 27 years, Curtis taught at various levels in Augusta County, and was named division "Teacher of the Year" in 2000. He currently serves as Music Specialist in Harrisonburg Public Schools. A native of the Valley, Curtis holds a BA in Music Education from Bridgewater College (1976) and a MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Colorado, Boulder (1982). He has appeared as soloist and guest conductor for numerous music events around Virginia. Curtis is past president of the Virginia Elementary Music Educators Association and is vice-president of the Virginia Music Educators Association, and is a charter member of the JMU Music Education Advisory Board and the Mid-Valley Consortium of Clinical faculty.
AMY ROBERTSON - Accompanist
Amy comes to us from Yuma, Arizona and has a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance with emphasis in Accompanying and Coaching. She also has a Master's Degree in Piano Performance from James Madison University. She is a freelance accompanist, teaches privately and accompanies several choral groups in the Shenandoah Valley.
Gretchen Wampler Welch a founding member of the Choral Society was selected in 1987 as conductor.
Dr. Kenneth Nafziger served as conductor until 1987.
The Choral Society's founding music director, Dr. Gordon Ohlsson served from 1970 to 1977.
