WE ARE A CHORAL PERFORMANCE GROUP OF QUALITY!
A quality chorus requires that members:
Be at all rehearsals
Be on time
Have a pencil!
Be attentive and ready to sing for two hours.
STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE.
ATTENDANCE:
Please try to attend regularly. Illness, business and vacations are such it is not always possible to attend. However, in addition to gaining the best possible "feel" for the group, regular attendance enables you to observe the director's wishes as to dynamics, phrasing, etc. The outstanding singer benefits the people nearby, in addition to him/herself.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO:
Learn and be thoroughly familiar with the music;
Check before or after rehearsal with other members of your section for special markings or directions given by the Director;
Consult with the Director ahead of time if several absences are anticipated;
Demonstrate your familiarity with the music at the request of the Director;
Participate in Choral Society activities.
