Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony

Shenandoah Valley Music Festival invites all interested volunteers to sing Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra next summer!
 
Curtis Nolley, artistic director of the Shenandoah Valley Choral Society, will be the choirmaster. SVCS will provide the core ensemble, but we will need singers from across the Valley to fill out the choir of 100-plus members. No audition required.  All lovers of great choral music are welcome!
 
Concert date is July 30, 2022. Rehearsals start June 20 at Bridgewater Church of the Brethren in Bridgewater, near Harrisonburg, and will take place every Monday from 7:30-8:30 p.m. through July 25. The only exception is July 4. That rehearsal date will be moved to Tuesday, July 5. Click here to sign up.
