Singer Attire

Attire for Winter and Spring Concert Performances

The purpose of this dress code for singers is to present a uniform and professional look during the concert. The focus of the audience should be on the music we are singing, not on the attire of individuals who do not match the rest of the group.

Men:  All black attire. Black long-sleeve shirt with black buttons (undershirt should also be black), black dress pants and belt, black socks and black shoes. No tie.

Women:  All black attire.

Top – Plain black top with crew neck and at least 3/4″ length sleeves, or the Choral Society provided blouse. Choral Society blouses may be borrowed from the group and returned after the concert. Please note: No scoop necks, V-necks, turtlenecks nor sequins, buttons, pockets, patterns or textures.

Jewelry
Women must wear the pearl necklace provided by the Choral Society to give a uniform appearance. Please wear stud earrings; no dangle or large earrings as they can be a distraction. No other necklaces should be worn with the pearls.

Please do not wear bracelets that can be noisy or distracting. Watches are acceptable.

Necklaces are provided at the concert and are returned after the performances.
